Redo & Damage Policy

At Woshbox, we do everything we can to ensure your garments are treated with care. If something doesn’t meet your expectations, we’re here to help—but we also want to be transparent about our policies.

⏱️ Timeframe

  • Please notify us within 48 hours of your delivery/pickup if there’s a problem with your order.

  • Claims made after 48 hours may not be eligible for redos or adjustments.

🧾 What You’ll Need

  • The original Woshbox tag attached to the item

  • The order ticket or reference number

🔁 Redo Qualifications

  • Redo services apply only to cleaning services (not alterations).

  • Items must be reprocessed based on the original service requested.

  • All redos must be approved by management.

✂️ Alteration Policy

  • Alteration items must be pre-pinned by the customer.

  • We do not pin, mark, or size items in-store.

  • Alterations are not eligible for redo.

🚫 Limitations & Disclaimers

Old or Weak Fabric:

We are not responsible for damage to fragile, worn, or aged garments that are structurally compromised.

Dry Clean Only Items:

We will not machine wash dry-clean-only items to avoid shrinkage or distortion.

Lost or Damaged Items:

In the rare case of a loss or confirmed damage:

  • Compensation is not based on a fixed formula. We evaluate each case individually, considering the item’s condition, age, replacement value, and cause of the issue.

  • We do not automatically compensate at 10x the cleaning price.

  • A manager will review your case carefully using your order history, security footage, and customer records to ensure a fair resolution.

    (Some items may not qualify for compensation due to prior wear or existing damage)

What days and times do you deliver and pick up?

We offer pickup and delivery Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM. While we can't guarantee an exact time, we assign you a delivery route so your pickup or drop-off happens around the same time each service day. Make sure to have everything outside before 8:00 AM so our driver can collect your order without delays.

Is there a delivery fee or minimum order amount?

There is no delivery fee, but we do have a $25 minimum order requirement for all delivery services. This applies to everyone, including members. As long as your order meets the $25 minimum, pickup and delivery are completely free—no extra charges or hidden fees.

What happens if I miss a scheduled pickup or delivery?

If you're not home and haven't left your items in a secure, agreed-upon spot, we may skip the pickup and apply a $15 missed pickup fee. For deliveries, we usually leave your order in the location you selected (like your front porch or package room). If that’s not possible, we’ll contact you to make arrangements. If something comes up, just let us know—we’re happy to reschedule!

How long does the dry cleaning process take?

Dry cleaning typically takes 2–3 business days. If you have special items that need hand washing, it may take longer. Rush service may be available upon request.

Can you remove tough stains from clothing?

We always try our best, but stain removal is not guaranteed. Results depend on the fabric, the type of stain, and how long it has set.

🔸 Wash & Fold services do not include stain removal.

For better results, please bring in stained items as soon as possible and let us know what caused the stain.

Is wedding dress preservation available?

Yes! We offer wedding dress cleaning and preservation services to keep your gown looking beautiful for years to come. Our process includes gentle cleaning, detailed inspection, and packaging in a preservation box to protect it from yellowing, dust, and moisture.
